Hi Matt,

Thank you so much for your inquiry!

I'll sell the weeville.com domain name for US $6,457,966.47.  I won't budge from that.  That's been my price from Day One.  Several deals have come close to closing in the past, but the buyers' financing failed at the last moment each time.  One buyer was offering up a bunch of junk bonds as collateral to the bank, but they lost all of their value the week before closing.  The buyer was very apologetic and he paid all of the fees that it took to draw up the contract that was never signed.  So yes, Weeville is still very much for sale.

Have your lawyers contact mine, and we'll draw up the contract.  I'm looking forward to doing business with you.  We can do this!

Email Comments- I sent the above exchange out to everybody on the Weeville network while the case was pending:

Carl:  Maybe your low price made him feel something has got to be fishy.  If the sale goes through will you autograph a blank check for me?

JLVeer:  Sounds like a bargain to me.

Shirley:  LOL.. don't forget who your friends are.. when you sell it..

Steve:  well at least you could take off on another bike trip...

Yankster:  NOW WAIT JUST ONE MINUTE!  I know times are tough all over but that doesn't mean we should compromise our values.  With inflation being what it is, the loss of the value of the US dollar world wide, oil prices skyrocketing to $4.00 a gallon, stock market fluctuations and bad toys from China - we as a Nation must focus on our continued resolve for maintaining a "standard" that the rest of the world can follow.  In my humble opinion you shouldn't ask a penny less than $6,457,966.48(US)!

And for the followup:

Although I am mildly entertained buy you response I am willing to offer you $50.00 which is above the value per the following link.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt, bless your heart.  I find your response to mine "mildly entertaining" as well.

I've been building on the Weeville site for 10 years.  And I wipe with fifty dollar bills if toilet paper is not within reach.

And you can't even spell.  What grade are you in?  Do your parents know you are messing with grownups on the computer?

No Matt.  No.  You cannot have the Weeville domain name.  No.  Forget it.  Over.  Case closed.  Go play outside.
